New Year's

Well this post is to wish everyone a very Happy New Year, and hope that 2009 brings the best to each and everyone of you.

Do be careful if you go out and party with friends, please do not DRINK AND DRIVE, this mean you.!!!!

Not much going on here, just trying to get the christmas decorations down and put away for another year.
Added two more pictures of my granddaughter and her new hubby, took them off her Facebook site.
And then I added some scrapbooking effects, hope who ever see them likes them.
Okay that is it for now, just wanted to make my new years wish.

Saturday after Christmas

Well here it is the sat after christmas and wondering if I ready to take the tree down, I would normally leave it up until after the new year, but our living room is so small that it is really tight in here.
So I don't know what I will do yet, but we had a good christmas. I hope everyone out there did too.

Christmas Day 2008

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE, hope you had a great one and santa was good to you all, we had a wonderful day so far, I'm going to fix a ham dinner and pie for desert, then call it a day.
We all had a huge breakfast after opening up gifts and to see what santa brought for Alexis. He came by my house after he went to her house. That is how her presents got here.

Oh the story's we have to come up with, been doing it for so long, my kids wondered how come they got so many christmas. We went to my dad's on christmas eve, then to my mother-in-laws christmas morning, then on to my mother's house for dinner and christmas tree their. So they were so tired my the time we got back home it wasn't even nice.

So everyone is taking a nap right now, belly full of breakfast, we had our traditional breakfast, of chocolate gravy, or soppin chocolate, biscuits, bacon, and eggs for who ever wants one. Now I know you are all going yukkkkkkkk that sounds terrable, but don't knock it until you have tried it. It is a traditional meal from my husbands faimly, he was from Arkansas and that was big there and thru out the south.

Well okay I think I will post a few pictures, and then go start some dinner or at least get it ready to go into the oven.

Week End before Christmas

Well here it is the last week-end before ole sant nice arrives, and the stores are really busy with the last minute shoppers, like me.

I have a few more things to pick up but I'm not looking forward to it at all, but I have to do it.
I just finished putting up all the decorations that I'm going to, we aren't having company this year just who lives here. So it looks like the hoiday, enough for lex to get the feeling.
We are staying home this year, thought our granddaughter was coming from SLC but doesn't look like it now. Well the weather is horrable, airports closed and delays all over the place. We don't have to worry about the snow anymore, but people couldn't fly out of our airport yesterday, due to closers in other states.

So she is going to try and make it for Lexie's birthday in Febuary, weather could be not so good then either. But we will see.

Okay need to go get dressed and start thinking about shopping, oh yukkkk!!!!

Still no pretty's on my blog yet

Well I still don't know or figured out I guess I should say, how to decorate my blog pages. I don't know how to get started on it.

So I guess I will just start trying different things, maybe I will get some scrap pages on here today, that will add something to the over all page.

Well I don't have anything new to add as of right now, but just thought I would drop in and show that I will be active with this venture of mine. lol
They have a feature that you can add a slide show, so maybe I will do that. So we will see what I will get done.

Well this is the launce of my Brand New Blog

I have never had a blog before so this is all new to me, I haven't even figured out how to put a back ground or any color on it yet. But I thought I you get something written so it shows that I have a new blog.

This is going to be fun I think, something new for me, I am doing digital scrap booking, I'm into that pretty hot and heavy, but it is still new to me, I have a lot to learn. Well I will get this posted and see how it looks, will try to keep up on this now that I have it started, hoping for a web site also. Time will tell
